Numbness

by Hannah   Aug 2, 2006

Scarlet stains within the night
Marks the beauty
Until the innocent words say
I'm sorry
Hides the pain of hollow insides
Such passion taken
From a glistening life
Shadow haunts her every dream
Nerves shatter her loneliness
Against a wall of black
Cased by the beholders
Broken thoughts of lullabies
In the numbness of my own soul
