With This Silent Sound

by Pondering Thoughts Of Nothing   Aug 3, 2006

Sitting here,
In a room,
So dull and plain....
The silent sound just blasts.
I cannot hear anything.
I can only see your lips move,
As I sit and struggle with all my might,
To talk to you,
To hear your words,
This silent sound clamps my mouth shut,
And flows through my ears.
Ringing,
Ringing,
Is all I can hear.
I get up and try to walk toward you,
But the silent sound pushes me down.
I scream your name,
And try to so humbly crawl to you,
But this silent sound pins me to the ground.
I try to break these invisible restraints,
But this silent sound just weakens me.
With all my strength,
I try to whisper your name,
But this silent sound takes my breath away.
Not even you can save me,
With your powerful love or sweet kiss.
So just leave me to die
With this silent sound,
Until this pain is no more.
