Key To His Heart

by Lindsay   Aug 3, 2006

My armor weakened from you kiss
a blow to the back, i did miss
she took me out from behind
stabbed right through, this heart of mine
i fell to the floor, writhed in pain
asking if she had gone insane
she laughed? what was that for
she said she would even the score
take him its what she did
with no armor i ran and hid
to scared to fight and win him back
confidence and bravery is what I lack
"you win" i proclaim, im much to weak
if this is the prize you must seek
she took the boy by the arm
pulling him on, causing harm
he pulled away from her hold
she pulled right back, her eyes were cold
the weak girl stood with a crafty grin
knowing she would clearly win
on a string that would never part
she wore the key to his heart
