I know we havent spoken in awhile
I just dropped by to offer a smile
And tell you that I miss you so much
And Im sorry that weve been out-of-touch

I know that you havent got the time
But I wanted just to humor you with a rhyme
A poem to show that I still care
Even though I cant always be there

Dont think of this as an apology
Im not at fault, though I am sorry
And I wish that you and I could mend
I wish that we could be friends again
