Just Friends?

He showed me the sunset sky,
I sat in his arms, from day to night,
But I had still wondered why,
I looked up at the sun,
The whole day had been so fun,
He'd filled me with happiness and delight,
He'd taught me how to smile, how to put up a fight,
He'd cuddled me, squeezed me as the day drew on,
Id don't know what id do, if he had gone,
We skated the icy lake which had frozen over,
He held my hand as we skated, had he become my Casanova?
He never let go from start to end,
Why was he doing this, the reason would depend,
We stopped after a while and stared up at the stars,
We could see the constellations, Jupiter and mars,
And then he moved over more to my side,
As over head, some swans did swiftly glide,
He looked directly in my eyes,
Never looking away, not hiding behind disguise,
"Can I kiss you?" he asked.
it was the best moment that passed.
