Three Treasures

by Christine   Aug 4, 2006

I find these treasures
when I look at you:
the sun, the moon,
and the ocean blue.

Your smile is the crescent moon.
Waxing or waning it matters not.
When it goes away,
my smiles stop.

Your laugh is the sun
that brightens my day.
If it stopped,
I'd feel pain.

Your voice is the ocean,
so soft and quiet.
If you ever raised it,
I would fret.

I find three treasures
when I see you,
the things I can't live without;
the sun, the ocean, and the moon
