Our journey began once upon a time,
because of some cookies that crossed our minds.
From there on a great friendship began,
and like Spongebobs and Patricks it grew along.

For soccer we trained, kicking balls each day.
Jokes and laughs were spread around.
Great moments of fun we usually had,
that we cherished forever in our hearts.

Awesome memories were born with time,
marathons, pinatas, birthdays and cartulina fights.
Once in a while tears came along,
but they didnt stay for long.

I will never forget all the great moments I lived with you,
hoping you will remember them as well as I do.
But one thing is for sure, you will forever be in my heart,
even though cookie dough we will travel apart.

Really cookie,
I never thought we could end,
being this close as friends,
but dont get me wrong,
im so happy for what God has done.

Now, a new adventure you will be able to start,
without a cookie to share with this time.
But im sure that despite the new changes that will come,
a friendship like ours will never be gone.

I cannot lie,
I do regret all those days we didnt say hi,
cause we never knew and didnt imagine,
we hadnt much time left near each other.

Now I stand here,
bidding you goodbye,
wishing you the best in your life.

Remember you will forever have a friend here.
A cookie that will stand by your side,
far in distance, but near your heart.

And as I stand here,
I wish we could start over again.
I will never regret any moments we spent together.
All the laughs, jokes and smiles that traveled miles.
I wish I could do it one more time,
maybe to stop me from saying goodbye.

Goodbye, sweet goodbye,
to a friend that means so much to me.
Today time has rushed over our lives,
taking us through different roads.
Roads that will always be connected by our hearts.

I hope you will never forget that you can count on me for all,
that you have a friend who would give it all,
who will count the days till she sees you again.
