A dissapearing act:

by broken reflection   Aug 5, 2006

The animal inside of her
Has leapt out of her skin,
Now all is left is a pale layer,
A pale layer of tragedy,
She is now bare and empty...
She was outgoing,
She was free
She was all knowing
She was me!
I want it back...
I wish to feel again
Senses are what I now lack,
All I feel is an unforgiving, rotting pain
I need to be in control once again,
I think I might go insane,
It has gone now, my animal
And I have lost my will to reign...
My last sign of its absence,
Is I cannot see it any more,
I do not hear its soothing roar,
My life is over, no feelings from me, hence...
I shall stop the beating of my bleak heart
By using life's honed dart.
