Inside that old computer of his
lies a secret that only he knows
of e mails and pictures he ought to delete, but he cannot seem to let them go.

Almost four years ago, they met on the INTERNET
formed a friendship and bond they vow neither will forget
but as her popularity on the net begins to grow
she deleted him from her list a month ago.

Many sleepless nights he spent talking to her
as her life was a mess, a complete blur
he talked her out of leaving on many occasions
wasn't an easy task it took a lot of persuasions.

Sacrificed his own happiness to make her life right
he encouraged her daily never to give up the fight
any time she was down he was there for her
now she walked away from his friendship closing the door.

She had become obsessed with all the attention on the net
and slowly began to drift away and the little things she cant forget
like replying to his e mails or giving him a call
finally giving him the silent treatment and not talking at all.

A month ago like she did so many times
tried to insult his intelligence with blatant lies
but as he confronts her with the truth she became very angry
he knew at that moment their friendship was history.

She had walked away from him on a few occasions before
always running back to him when she falls on the floor
he would welcome her back with open arms
i guess he couldn't resist her tears and charms.

Now surrounded by many she no longer wants to leave herself
he had showed her the way to a better life when he took her off the shelf
excited by the many men rushing her on the net
a move that will one day leave her with many regrets.

For almost four years they had a daily routine
now he sits alone and stare at his computer screen
hoping that she'll have a change of heart
but while this may be normal for her
it's tearing him apart..
