Only Once

She always wanted to succed in life
to put forth her best effort
but it got so overwhelming at times
life seemed so unbearable
all she needed was a break
all she wanted was a moment to herself
she never thought it would turn out like this
never dreamed of going into the deep end
hey intention was to try it only once
but now she's drowning
people tired to help her along the way
but she wouldn't acknowledge the problem,
untill it was to late
now she is gone
a tunnel of darkness surrounds her
she searches for the light
there is none to be found
she is alone for eternity
encolosed in emptiness.
