A Single Key...

**this poem is confusing if you don't pay attention to what your reading, so make sure you do**

I look into the thing that is made of glass
I search for the image thats supposed to peer back
Its not there, I'm so confused
My thoughts go wild, what do I do?
I rub my eyes and look again
I think to myself that I must be dead
I take the blade from my drawer
Cut myself then drop it to the floor
The pain is strong I must be alive
I look once again and wonder why
There's nothing there but a single key
I look closer, it's beckoning me
I reach for it my hand go's through
Then i pull away, I'm so confused
After a moment I reach again
I can't explain the thoughts going through my head
I walk through, as simple as that
Soon enough I have the key in my hand
As I hold it close to me
I look around, there's nothing to see
I start to walk into the black
Not once thinking that I should go back
Then out of nowhere I see a door
Not where it's supposed to be, it's on the floor
I bend down on my hands and knees
The door's locked, then I remembered the key
I slipped the key in ever so slow
For I was afraid of what hid beneath the floor
As I opened the door, I knew what it was
It was a piece of glass covered in dust
As I wipe it off i see
The reflection starring back was me
But my hand was held out, as strait as can be
And all i held in it was a single key...

*please tell me what you think*
