Lover's Dawn

by loretta Taylor   Aug 7, 2006

Lover's Dawn

We set our souls on fire
With the strength of our desire

Every taste and touch
Make me love you so much

The gaze of your passionate eyes
Bind us with invisible ties

When you hold me so tight
Everything feels so right

I want to love you all night long
Until the first light of a lover's dawn

I can grasp the intent perfectly, hunny.. the problem being that I have about another thousand lines after yours finish about how my lover's dawn ends, and he goes back to his wife!! lol.. I found this to be amazing, for that reason.. Maybe I'm just too emotional to be reading others work today!! Very very well done. xx

Have I mentioned that you`ve got a beautiful name? Not sure if I have, but, you do. =D
As for your poem, it was really good! I`m not really liking all these two line stanzas, they just don`t hold enough emotion, and the reader can`t really grasp the intent. But you seemed to have done a pretty good job here, so, 5/5.

    Love Much,
