Times have passed
And passed have times
Ages I grew
Ages of dimes

And I pray for you
To know a truth
Have I ever betrayed?
Have I been a fool?

And the times are gone
And the times are scared
They bring no hatred
They bring no shame

I lie down, listen to the last heartbeat of the ground
Led my soul to find its way
Either to heaven or high to pray...
