Mum in a more than a million

by Rachel   Aug 9, 2006

Mum you gave me a place on earth
You brought me up to show me right
You hold the candle to light up my way
The candle burns and brights up my day

I know the life you had before me
What you pulled through is an inspiration
You lost your Mum at an early stage
You were only young, about my age

I never had the chance to meet Nan
But I know she watches through the clouds
She is so proud of all you have done
You pulled through smiling, a brilliant mum

As I get older it is nearly time for me to fly
Using my own wings and all that I have learnt
As I fly through life I know I will be fine
Because no body had a mum like mine

Thank you Mum; my inspiration, my role model and my friend. Love you around the world and back xXx

I really like this. It's very sweet and it's great to see someone who actually appreciates their parents. You did a wonderful job on this, and I like the last stanza, very imaginative. Great job on this! 5/5
