Razors breath

by jess   Aug 10, 2006

The breath of a razor's shallow touch,
that welcomes blackened blood to life,
live and invite the last departure,
that could free the lifeless souls.
end the sleepless nights....
fade cries to whispers to the faintest of gasps.
the dying collision of metal and flesh,
that ends the mix of blood and breath....
growing silence, shallow heartbeat.
vision dissolving into the night;
thoughts slowly falling from my mind,
slipping away to an empty sleep-
defying the need to wake ever again.
