The night we walked

by Roland Amaranto   Aug 12, 2006

Glances of the stars and moon,
Cast the twilight monsoon
Unlock the secrets of aurora,
With the key of comet magenta

Behind the curtains of day,
Majestically comes midnight
Gowned with a velvet ray,
Showering a fiery white light

Amidst the darkness - bound,
A light of eternal flame
Seizing the gloomy sound,
Shining a beautiful name

Love, soaring the Gaean air,
Capturing every lonely heart
Gleams with sudden glare,
The faces of god` s divine arts

As I walk through the night,
In the cast of fiery white light
A shadow I have found beside,
With me, as I walk â?? abides

And it was you, I am with,
T` was our flame that shines
Gleams in our hearts and hid,
Chained by love with silver lines

Nothing else matters to me,
But only you that I wanted to see
And all I cared about gave light,
Cleared my life in that night

Your warm tender embrace,
Hath kept me safe and secure
Love me in so many ways,
And healed me with your cure.

Felt so much joy to my soul,
Because you have made me whole
Like spreading my wings and fly,
Raising me to the heavens up high

Every moment will I reminisce,
Every passing hour will I miss
A lasting memory hidden deep
And in my mind shall I keep,

My mind shall always stay
And will I always remember-
The time we walked away,
In the paths of forever
