Someone

by Roland Amaranto   Aug 12, 2006

In every night that follow, In every note that resonates
My soul falls away, to self created joy,
Keepeth by someone, yet alone to reality
Just to hide thyself from tears of misery,

Lost in confusion of this dying world,
Betrayed by belief that I have someone
Walking alone with my sadness made shadow,
A hand that is tender and warm but hollow

Sands of the hour glass was followed by another
Drop of rain falleth, floods my emptiness,
The sun and the moon still meet during eclipse
. . . I'm here smiling, but deep within weeps,

The never ending tale of happily ever after
cannot convince even this world of dreams,
But still even a fallen man need a wonderland
to have and to hold someone that understand

A pearl beneath this raging oceans,
This star on the crowded velvet sky
The one who is for lone wondering me,
Is away out there, unable to see this reality

Wish that I can be a portrait of this bitter emotion
A picture for a thousand silent words unspoken,
Created by this weaken hands working timeless
Just to be seen by a treasure that is priceless

I really cannot get the right flow
of emotion when I make a poem...
