When my defences crumble

by Libby   Aug 12, 2006

It was a surprised attack
Arrows drawn , shot Through
My heart split at the thought
Of those talking lips with you

I walked far away many times
I wouldnt back wardsglance
The pain wouldnt show
From my smiling defending stance

Though this moment was stronger
Loving torture keeping me weak
No longer defended by deception
My pain had began to speak

Desperation of this at the least
When images visit without welcome
Eyes watch, closer and bleed
Banishing the images to where there from

Those words, from my pains mouth
That sparks my thoughts
This torture, her satisfaction
And the loss of what I fought

This feeling you held for me
Always left behind
You move on to another place
One I could never truly find.
