True Love

Some people will go through their entire life and they will be the best athlete, or they will be the smartest, or the person that always gets the girl/guy. Then there are the rest of us who are just average.

Most of these people will live their lives as normal, nothing too serious or too great, but then there are the select few of us that get to experience something so wonderful, something so amazing, that most don't believe it exists. This thing is so special that you really only get 1 chance at it. This thing my friends, this wonderful, magical thing, is true love!

True love, ya know that thing found in fairy tails where the prince wakes the princess with a kiss and they live happily ever after into the sunset. Where two people love each other so much that they just can't stand being apart for more than a hour without feeling empty inside. Some may say that they have had true love, but in reality have not because they moved on from that so called true love and if it truly had been true love than wouldn't they still be together.

Some think that every random person that they happen to go with is their "true love" when in turn it's just some weekend fling. No, true love isn't just being there with someone saying oh yeah, I'm with her and we're in love. It's so much more than going through the motions, just being in a relationship for the physical parts.

When you are truly in love with someone, you never want to be apart. They become part of you. When they are in pain you hurt and you'd do anything so they never have to feel that way again. When you find someone that you love, you do all that you can so they keep smiling, and if they stop smiling you do whatever it takes to make them smile again.

True love is something special that you are so fortunate to receive. I thank the lord that I have someone that I can say, I am in love with.
