What if the world
were to crumble one day?
To break up to pieces
however you pray?
What if the tides
that are washed on the shore
were to dry up forever
and come up no more?
What if the sun
lost its warm golden ray
and all life be taken
the land turned cold grey?
What if all of our trees
should wither and die?
Or if our lakes, seas and oceans
all shrivel and dry?
Well, isn't it easy
as far as I know
I'll just hold You real tight
and never let go.
