Torn by flight

by Iola   Aug 13, 2006

It\'s dark outside, he needs to hide and save his love inside.
She\'s sleeping shallow, she grasping her pillow, too many times she cried.

He\'s crawling near, consumbed by fear, tonight is the big escape.
She\'s praying and praying, her chance is here, her one and only break.

He made a pat, and told her that, he\'ll save her from her hell.
She fell for him and eventually bought into his believalbe spell.
He stole the moon and silver spoons and flooded her with stars.
She hesitate, but happily ate the melodies from his quitar.

The window\'s left open, intentions unspoken, he\'s making his way in.
She\'s totally broken, but taking this token, running away with a fling.
He takes her bags and look at the lad who\'s carelessly snoring away.
She looks at her man and try to understand, why he treated her this way.

He takes her face and signals no disgrace and gently push her outside.
She breathes the air, free from dispair,
ready to take this ride.
He places a not on the bed, and turn to claim his prize.
\"A flower without water will grow elsewhere, suprise, my friend, suprise!\"
