My Space

by Iola   Jun 4, 2009

When I crawl into you
I feel a little bit lighter
Sometimes you feel it too
I am a fearless fighter

This morning I felt sick
My stomach made a turn
I heard my inner bomb tick
From loss we can only learn

Within I am getting colder
The skin around me too tight
Slowly becoming older
I struggle to breath tonight

You hope for a better tomorrow
With someone who has no clue
Drenched in my endless sorrow
Unable to see what is true

As another chapter slams shut
I lift my head up once more
Get me out of this rut
Leave me to finally soar

This poem has too many forced lines..and rhyme..
Better try not to focus on the rhyme that much.
