INSUBORDINATE EYES

by Kamran Ahmad   Aug 13, 2006

With mirth of love in her eyes on her lovers face fixed her stare
My insubordinate eyes look on for long engulfing that emotional stare
Those pious eyes heavy, worried under mine insubordinate eyes stare
And that infant's innocent eyes with disbelief in them at me stare
Beholder of lust those eyes and me as I standing tall they stare
Revert my eyes to left or right to avoid those eyes as they stare
Her insubordinate and mine look long at each other while we stare
Which way our society has leapt eyes on us who stare
Why that newly wed with no feelings in his eyes on me stare
Don't that pair know will asking what as mine insubordinate stare
The awe of disbelief in those pretty eyes under mine direct stare
And that beautiful charming smiles to herself under insubordinate stare
Why do I quiver when her brother in anger at me directs his stare
Mother with love at child stare my insubordinate at mother's eyes stare
No matter how angry the one is my insubordinate eyes they stare
Husband hers on her remarks reverts his eyes and with a glare stare
Why that handsome old man fixes his eyes on me and stare
Handsome that boy they stare graceful that lady they stare
A child at play they stare crying or giggling in subordinate's stare
New car new surrounding beautiful painting or artifact a long stare
Mother nature's scenic scenes these insubordinates fix a still stare
Labeled has me my insubordinate eyes he on us stares and stare
My insubordinate eyes and me
