Expectations

by Aline   Aug 13, 2006

As the night comes
You hold your heart
Not to run away
You capture the fear
Not to fall to lay

As the wind shouts
And the rain drops
You close your ears
You close your eyes
You forget the shadow
Of your sins and lies

As you turn to find a bat
You scream so the imps are awake
You expect someone at your door
When your blood crawls on the floor
You expect the window’s glass broken
When steps are heard
And words are spoken

But at last you wake up
A new day has come…
