Rain and Blood

Singing in the rain,
crying in the rain.
Healing in the rain,
bleeding in the rain.
The rain can make you happy,
the rain can make you sad.
The rain can make you calm,
the rain can make you mad.
I can have a tear run down my face,
but in the rain no one will ever know.
I feel so lonely without my family,
oh, how I miss them so.
I was sitting in a puddle one day,
watching blood and rain roll down my arm.
I just sat and watched,
not knowing I caused harm.
I started feeling dizzy,
and a little light head.
I fell into a deep sleep,
dreaming I was a Princess in bed.
The next thing I knew,
I heard a lady crying.
\"Please doc,\" she said,
\"please don\'t say she\'s dieing.\"
\'I can\'t breathe I thought,
it felt like someone shut me in a can.
\'I know who she is,\' I thought,
\'I know that woman.\'
My eyes popped open,
and I looked at the lady.
I looked beside my mom,
and I saw my real daddy.
But how could that be,
I thought he was in jail.
I just sent him a letter,
he should be getting in the mail.
\"My baby!\" mom cried,
\"she\'s finally awake!\"
What did she mean,
\'finally awake?\'
\"Mommy,\" I said,
\"How long have I been here?\"
\"Almost two years now,\" she said,
\"it\'s not long my dear.
I\'m happy that your finally back, I missed you so much.\"
\"Me to,\" my brother said,
\"I missed you a bunch.\"
\"You can come on home now,\" mom said,
\"you can live with me.\"
\"What are you saying mom?\" I asked, \"how could that be?\"
\"The judge gave me a chance,\" she said,
\"he decided you two can come back.\"
She hugged both me and Mathew,
her strength did not lack.
A few days later,
after the doctor made sure I was well.
I finally was driven to my mom\'s,
were I rang the doorbell.
She answered the door,
and rushed me in.
\"Nows the time,\" she said,
\"our life will begin.\"
That night,
it started to rain.
I ran outside,
and danced in the rain.
I sand in the rain,
I cryed in the rain.
And now today,
my new life began in the rain.
