Forgetting You

I wish I could remember the last time I laughed or the last time I cried when you were not on my mind. But I cannot. Its funny how when you are sad nothing matters but the person you cannot forget. I do not know how much more I can take I have no more tears to shed. It has been a long time since you left and I know you cannot come back. But when I close my eyes I see you there laughing and my heart will not let me believe you are really gone. I hope that wherever you are you are happy and pain does not exist so you will never get hurt.
