Untitled (PEOPLE GIVE ME SUGGESTIONS)

by Latasha   Aug 16, 2006

The memories are all thats left to hold,
As our final good-byes are said,
My mind and body frozen,
As I watch you enter the ground,
The harsh winds brush against my face,
As my tears turn to ice

Never did I want to lose you like this,
One stormy night,
Maybe I was driving a little too fast,
I didnt see that car coming,
As I laughed at your jokes,
All I remember now is that scream

That night often haunts my mind,
As I wonder why him, why not me?
So young and so strong,
A lifetime of opportunities never to be known,
Today youll enter a new world,
No more pain will you ever feel

I turn away,
Everything is way too hard,
This good-bye should never have happened,
I can promise you this,
I will never forget you,
So here is my good-bye to you

Time progresses,
Your casket still lay 6 feet under,
Weeds have taken over,
No one seems to care,
A boy no older then 18 lay here,
No more memories will be created,
All I have left now is too hold onto the past,
And hope for a better tomorrow
