Your Smile.

by Shelbi   Aug 16, 2006

Sleepless
Confess my thought to the Lord
I step upon the midnight train
And scatter along to
find a seat
Hopefully i chose the right place to go
Needless to say, I've screwed up
so many times
My thoughts are filled with many distractions
So many wrong notes played on the piano keys
My purse doesn't match my outfit
My looks don't match my personality
I've lost the only thing that has mattered
But I'm gaining it back time after time
At the same moment it feels like I'm falling apart
My life's a fish out of water
A rag-doll being tossed around
A kiss that missed its destination
A friendship gone wrong
I can pull through this
Train stops and i walk out onto the stations pavement

-I see your smile-
