Hidden Emotions

by A New Beginning   Aug 17, 2006

Bottled emotions
Killing me inside
Slowly I am dying
Because of what I hide
It is no good for anyone
To keep everything so silent and deep
It hurts you in every way
Sometimes it's even hard to sleep
Because of this silence
Your heart grows cold
You resort to deadly things
These emotions need to unfold
Don't end up like me
What you see isn't always true
I fake a smile so no one notices
What hiding your emotions can actually do
So please listen to me
And take my advice
Because I know for a fact
Hiding your emotions won't suffice

It's a great poem...and I know all to well that what it speaks of is true...you already knew that I know...but yeah.
