Tomorrow's For The Sorrows

by Taryn   Aug 17, 2006

Trying to drown my sorrows,
Away into tomorrow.
Maybe I'll be able to deal then,
Or send then away with the mailman.
The pain tonight is too hard to withstand,
I'm lost in the ocean and I can't find land.
I broke his heart, not mine,
For once in this life time.
From this may I learn,
For the day this pain does return.

I'll put it off until tomorrow,
To finally wash away my sorrows.

Clear my mind,
Then put this behind.
Until I'm ready to deal,
And take down my shield.
Tonight I'll think about nothing,
Forget the pain life brings.
I'll let the pain be,
Cause it's not going anywhere can't you see.
It's here to stay,
Until it finally decays.
It'll leave a permanent mark upon my heart,
To always remind me of how I tore us apart.

I'll put it off until tomorrow,
To finally wash away my sorrows.

I'll be stronger tomorrow,
No strength will I need to borrow.
I'll take down this shield,
And I will learn to deal.
With the pain this life brings,
Cause you never know it could be anything.
This time I'll find land,
Because now this pain I can withstand.
From this I learn,
For that dreaded day this pain shall return.
Because tomorrow's for the sorrows.
