I thought life was perfect when i was young
But I was wrong
Life is anything but perfect
When I grew older I realized what i thought was nearly true

I thought life was great always
But family and friends get ripped away
I can bear life much longer
Parts of life can be great,
But life can never be perfect

I thought we would be together forever
But you got taken away
People hate others,
Others hate people

I thought life was perfect
But was i ever wrong
