I Miss You

You could say I miss you
I stare as we pass in the hall
I can't help but look at you
And start to remember it all
We had so much fun
Together forever you said we would be
What did I do wrong
Why did you suddenly leave me
Everyday I see you walk by
I miss you more and more
A little too much you may say
A little more day by day
But as each day passes
You try and move further away
You think this is best for me
But the best for me is if you stay
Others say to just forget you
And move on to someone new
But I don't want anyone else
You are my only one, it's true
So I guess I'll always miss you
More and more each passing day
Too much some may even say
I just hope that inside you miss me too

    Wonderful job. For some reason, for me, when you like somebody but don't have the guts to go for it, you feel better after they've been taken so...it gives you a reason to stop thinking of them.
