Beautiful death

by Amberinaa   Aug 18, 2006

Wearing her favorite dress
black eyeliner, and lips that shined
still she was ignored by him,
maybe he was blind.

Her beauty was like
a thousand bricks of gold
her personality was bigger
then a thousand story's told.

But still she was invisible
she just never caught his eye
he just let her keep on walking,
and for this he let her die.

Her beauty was deceiving,
and you never saw her tears
you never saw inside
She hid her greatest fears

The girl that everyone envied
just wasn't what she seemed
her life was all a lie
she was living someone else's dream

She wrote her story on her mirror
with that lipstick that shined
maybe this time when he saw her
he wouldn't be so blind.

Her eyeliner was smudged
her cheeks soaked in tears
How could she be so stupid
and have loved him all these years

she tied the rope so tightly
and took her finally breath
with one step off the table
this was her beautiful death.

Heartbreaking, but losing hope in love can do that to you,I hope you never feel this way ,as hard as it is to believe time heals and you love again sometimes even better. you are an excellent writer!

You haven't posted a new poem in a while and you come back with a beautiful one. I only hope this isn't how you feel. This poem was amazing, I loved reading it. I'd vote above 5 if I could. It was beautiful, no other words for it.
