The Pain Of Dominique

The pain of Dominique.

The sunlight glistens in your eye,
Showing the tears you need to cry.
Oh how you dream of ways to die,
And how it would be easier to not say goodbye.

A single tear rolls down your cheek,
As the blade lets your blood leak.
It hurts to look back on the happy times,
When you never thought you could do such hurtful crimes.

A very close friend had let you go,
Now she's grabbing for your hand, but you say "no".
A very special person has broken your heart so,
Now, in shame, your head hangs low.

You can't take the hurt anymore,
And you can't keep crying behind that closed door.
You need a way to escape, to release,
And you keep thinking it would be to rest in peace.

Your eyes are red from crying,
And the blood still flows, all because you're sick of trying.
You wish that for once someone would hold you while you sleep,
And comfort you while you weep.

As your blood spills to the floor,
You silently whisper "nevermore".
Nevermore will you feel this pain,
Nevermore will you have to play this game.

Nevermore will that Dominique need to cry,
Nevermore will you tell your heart breaker it's because of him you want to die.
Nevermore will you be haunted by your past,
Forevermore you will be laid in a coffin cast.

This life of misery you have lead,
Has left you lying lifeless in bed.
The terrible past you had,
Has left you broken and sad.

What you wanted to be,
Can now never be seen.
For that pain you once held in your heart,
Had finally torn you apart.
