The Angel That Left...

I knew this Day was going to come
I just never knew it was soon
By that one phone call
It changed my life in just one afternoon.

I never accepted you in my life
All I ever wanted was for you to leave
As I saw my mom in tears so strong
What I realized was, I was deceived.

Deceived because I was blind to see
That you were there for us
Not that man so called Dad
I never gave you a chance all I did was fuss.

I know that its to late to say sorry
But Im saying sorry now
I know you can hear me and know Ive always loved you
I know you looking over us from the clouds.

As you left you left behind a little miracle called Andrew
Who knows you were a great man
That took us in your life
All because you were a great man.

At times we all think back
And ask ourselves questions like why?
Why you had to take the motorcycle that day?
Or most importantly why we never got to say goodbye?
