Anniversary (help)

by Taylor   Aug 20, 2006

I want to give this to my boyfriend on our 1 year anniversary...please help me perfect it by leaving a comment....it's a true story...

It was one year ago,
But I remember it to this day.

A memory I hold so close,
It will never fade away.

Tyler invited us to a show,
Les Mis at S.H.S,

I absolutely despise the play,
But because of you I said, "Yes!"

You see, I'd had a crush on you,
I'll admit, for a little while.

After all you were my closet friend,
Who could always make me smile.

But I never thought you'd date me,
I assumed I was just your friend,

And that you'd never, ever "like" me,
That it'd be that way till the end.

So during the show we snuggled,
Like we always tended to do.

But something was changing as the play went on,
Something between me and you.

My small teenage crush,
Was growing inside me,

I suddenly had a new, weird feeling,
For this boy sitting beside me.

I wasn't sure what was going on,
Or why I felt so strange.

But the second we got in the car,
My whole world began to change.

All I can remember were your eyes,
Still visible in the dark.

Staring straight into them,
Then inside I felt a spark.

We both leaned in in unison,
Eye's closing at the same time.

A new sensation ran through my body,
When I felt your lips against mine.

I'm not done...but how is it so far? Any help...please!

Why did you stop so soon?!?!....Lol...gosh I was so into it. =P But seriously you should just leave it as it is and keep on writing just the way you are...it was beautiful. And he'll love it no matter what you put in the end...you have a magical and amazing way of writing, there's no way he won't. Just write what you feel, I guess...haha. Not much of an advice giver. =D

Good luck and take care ;)-stargazer38

Wow... that brought tears to my eyes!!
I would go from where you are... and add in when he first asked you out, to how you felt to things you did togther (what he would remember) and how your love continues to grow and blah blah blah and end it with how you hope your feelings never go away...

    good luck
