This is It

by Taylor   Nov 23, 2006

Ferris wheels, roller coasters,
Cotton Candy
Running through the Water Park,
Clear drops on your face and body
My face reflecting across the surface

Our young smiles permanently pasted
Across of flushed tired faces
Holding hands,making my stomach lurch
Butterflies stronger than the suns heat

Happiness, Giddiness, laughter
echoing though my body
The start of something new
something big, something great

Days, weeks, months of loneliness
Until fate tosses me in a car
You thrown in with me
The kiss making me shiver with a sensation new to me

Tears in my eyes, with realization
This is it, You are it
Young, foolish, ignorant
who cares, the love of my life is sitting beside me

From a hot summer day
Amusement park, heat and giddiness
To a cold winter's night
Car, only light coming from the dashboard, with your body warming mine

This is it
