One little word

You say "i gotta go". you turn and walk away.
and im standing here watching you leave.thinking how much i want to run to you, give you a big hug and kiss and tell you to never leave me again.
But i just stand here, trying to keep my feet from moving, trying to keep my eyes from staring.i try to close them but they wont shut.i call your name, you turn and say "what?"
i say "bye"
that one little word almost makes me cry.
you turn around and start walking away again,and you call out "goodbye"
