Our Newest Generation

Heyyz i know this poem is pretty long, but it took me half n hour 2 write it so please read it and rate it or leave a coment.
thanx =)

I am lost in the middle
Of searching for a way
Of escaping this society
Where anger rules the day

Alone in bewilderment
Of how people can survive
What keeps us going on?
When no honesty is alive

Clearly born and bred
The newest generation
Turned ignorant and selfish
Our Human federation

No meaning for a living
Except working every day
Getting little happiness
And receiving lesser pay

One life is all God gives us
One chance to make a choice
Why do we ignore such meanings?
Why do we not rejoice?

Most people have stopped seeking
The truth of our living
To many it is unknown
To what God has been giving

Children don't even question
What they're doing on this Earth
Or why it is that we are here
Or what our purpose is from birth

The people that surround me
Are mostly a flock of sheep
A false leader is what they follow
Their honesty shallow and cheap

They see me as peculiar
They say my thinking's strange
They think some day I'll modify
But I know I'll never change

Gossip is the monarch
That keeps young girls engrossed
It becomes their way of living
Where their attention is at the most

I know that I am guilty
Of partly becoming involved
But then I realized the imprudence
And my attention then dissolved

I'm wary that my surroundings
Could eventually change my heart
But as long as I keep cautious
Temptations will soon depart

But I am alone to make a choice
To whether I leave this place
Before I turn into a sheep
And become just another face
