Why Mommy

by Tayla   Aug 20, 2006

Why don't you feed me mommy?

The child quietly spoke

While his mother was doing something his daddy used to called coke

Why don't you take me to the park mommy?

He said rubbing his tears

She turned from the TV and gave him a glare

The boy cried and screamed

It's not fair

Why don't you love me mommy?

Is it all my fault?

I didn't mean to give you a kiss when you didn't want one

I'm sorry I left my broken toys laying around

Why don't you hug me mommy?

I miss feeling your warmth

I feel like I'm alone now

How could you do this mommy how?

Why don't you let me see daddy mommy?

You just leave me in a room

And when your mad I'm always fearing doom

Why do you hit me mommy?

I didn't do anything

Even when your mad I can see the angel within you

Every hit you make no matter what turns blue

Why can't you just love me and stop this

Why did I have to die mommy?

The last hit was to hard

You couldn't even come to my funeral because you were to drunk

For now I lay in the hands of god

Because I never really had a mommy to start with.
