Regrettin My Past

I'm sittin in the dark
Watchin the rain fall down
Regrettin so much that I've done
Thinking about all the things that have past

The rain resembles my tears
There are many
Fallin down quickly
Wetting my face

The clouds are dark and gray
Holding many of the tears in
Not telling anyone why this is happening
Wondering how to get rid of the pain

There it sits quietly watchin the water fall
Her tears and the rain matchin
the thunder roars and she wimpers
the lightning booms and she screams
she can't take this pain anymore
the tears and rain relieve a lot
compression in the clouds
filled with many raindrops
compression in her mind
filled with many feelings

the earth and the girl are thinking the same
they want this to end
want these horrible water droplets to leave
to get all the pain free
to get all the feelings free
to get all of themselves free

but how? How will they get the pain to go away?
They think not of doing something they'll regret
But something that will get rid of this terrible pain
That lingers deep down inside of them
Wanting to scream for help
Wanting to have some comfort
Wanting all this to be solved
There's no way to do this...

So here I am
