I Took A Sawing Class To Learn How To Cut Off The Air...

by Kevin Fitz   Aug 22, 2006

I Took A Sawing Class To Learn How To Cut Off The Air From My Lungs, But I Cut You Off Instead

maybe i\\\'ve lost my logic or just my mind
either way time is ticking down pound down
either way my heart is losing ground down down
vomit yourself holy and i\\\'ll surrender myself useless
just like the golden age of timeless classics

weathered, the storms will cease
tethered, the chains will release

and I will lose sight of all that matters
while the daylight scatters
and in the midst of my defeat
history will reap what i have sown
like nothing we could have ever known

claiming victim while being the culprit
in this day and age where all that glamors is rust
and i\\\'m in denial, but i\\\'ve fallen in love with the lust

and I will lose all that matters
while my mind slowly scatters
and in in the midst of my defeat
history will repeat and i will stand here the same
with my half hearted prayer as if salvation never came.
