My Son

by Nicole Ling   Aug 22, 2006

Everyday the past chases you down the long corridor. The sins of our mothers and fathers reek havoc upon their descendants.

Dear God, let my path find the right walkway as to ensure my son's longevity and enjoyment in this world.

My son, I wish you to grow up strong, honest and happy. I am there for you, always will be, always have been.

Before you were conceived I began to prepare your nest and you place within this small family. Just me, just you. We two can conquer the unconquerable and love the unlovable in this world.

My son, I knew you a long time go and you do not disappoint. You are the beginning and the end. Today, tomorrow, until eternity ceases being eternity.

You are my son.
