You Came Back

by Amanda Sloan   Aug 22, 2006

I knew the second you came back you would make things right
Make this place feel like home
Turn it all around, be the one to knock the rest down
As soon as you got on the flight, I slept through the night
There was enough reassurance just knowing you were on your way
And the second you came back,
everything was clear
You were going to be far, not near
It now feels less like home
And confusion fills in the shape of a groan
The way I dreamy this happening wasn't anywhere near the real.
Because you were all I had, now i have everything to fear
