Time Line

by Dawn Ellis Cantrell   Aug 23, 2006

There is a fine line
Between love and hate
Overnight that line
Could snap and break
How can you build a hate
Against someone, But why?
How could this be?
One day a smile that goes a mile
Hold you in his arms
Makes it all worth while
Then one day a bitter frown
Words that put you in the ground
Love one day, that turned to hate
Hate that I will never understand
Please explain, if you can
Everyday he touched my heart
Now today, he's ripping it apart
Why would he do this to me?
He said I was all he ever needed
But that fine line, it's hurts inside
Hurts bad knowing he was mine
Now he's gone
We'll no longer be together
That fine line, broken forever
