My grandpa

by andrea   Aug 23, 2006

If you love me why won't you show it?
When I cry at night all I think of is you
You are tearing me apart bit by bit
You never take me seriously or think things through

When you talk to me I listen
When I talk it's like your not there
Other guys say I glisten
It seems like you don't care

I talk about family and friends
And how many problems I have had
I don't know how life ends
But I know it must be sad

To see my grandpa the way he is
It rips me open inside
Until the guy that did this gets his
I will have no pride

This is a deep piece that posseses obvious emotional ties to you that come clear through your words. My word of advice would be to always double check your spelling.

"You are -tarring- me apart bit by bit" - tearing*
You never take me seriously or think things -threw-" - through

Otherwise, a nice piece. Thank you so much for your comment on my poem, it really means a lot to me. Best wishes, and blessed be. *Athame
