Fatal fixation

by SammiBABY   Aug 24, 2006

Devastated and frustrated
Disappointed and let down
A failure to myself
Another flaw is shown,
An imperfection so well known
I could never be anything else

I cry never forgetting why
Half an hour later I stop
Saddening desires for
Another scar to forever stay
There was nothing in my way
Still I have never been so unsure

Defiance against the plans
Nothing could change fact
Focussed on past bliss
Needing triumph to grow
This is the worst loss I know
I realise I am better than this

Focussed on only excellence
Nothing else is ever enough
Faults to me cause devastation.
One moment brought on the decision
Happiness begins with precision

Perfection is my fatal fixation
