Girl of roses

by Thomas   Aug 24, 2006

Did I tell you, lately, that I need you?
Did I tell you, you're my air?
When I was put down and lonely, did I tell you?
You were the one, who was there,
Did I tell you, lately, that I like you?
Did I tell you, I'm in love?
You were the one I was thinking of,
You are the one I am thinking of,

When I look in the mirror,
I see a picture; it's someone longing to be,
Through your eyes, in the mirror,
I see, a girl of roses, locked up, without love and a kiss,
If I look in your heart, what would I see?
A track leading to nowhere?
But on the fertile plains of your love,
I see a growing rose, caressed by the warm summer air,

Did I tell you, lately, that I like you?
Did I tell you, I'm in love?
When I was caring and happy, did I tell you?
You were the one, I was thinking of,

When I look in the mirror,
I see a picture; of someone longing to be,
Through your eyes, in the mirror,
I see, a girl of roses, the only one that I want for me,
If I look on that track, what would I see?
A train leading to my heart?
And on the fertile plains of your love,
I see two growing roses, that will never be apart,
