It's been over a year now
but I cannot let you go.
I miss you alot;
more than you could ever know.

Nan, I will love you
no matter what.
I cannot stand you not being here;
I am losing the plot.

Things have changed alot
since you have gone.
There does not seem to be any
stars, moon or sun.

You light up my life
but you are gone and now it is dull.
I thought you would be back;
it just shows that I am gullible.

I have never met anyone like you
nor have I met anyone near.
I cannot bear life without you;
I wish you were here.

You were so good to us all.
You never did a thing wrong.
I miss listening to your funny stories
and your favorite song.

More than anything I miss you
and the person you are.
I know you are still here in spirit
but you are gone and you are gone to far.

I do not know what to do anymore.
I cannot be with you yet I want to be.
I want and need you
here with me.

Nana, you are the best.
No words can describe what you mean to me.
I love, miss, want and need you
more than you could ever know, understand or see.
