Thrown Away (Diatelle)

by Timothy r   Aug 25, 2006

...................................Smiles
..................................Implied
.................................Cast aside
..............................Expertly played
..................Pretty sounds when you cried
.............Knots around my heart tightly frayed
........... Hiding behind this shallow masquerade
..........Hopelessly devoted to your feminine wiles
...............A prop to lead your sinister parade
................Weak and weary, lost and betrayed
........................My life, your death, collide
.............................Revenge displayed
.................................`Til you died
.....................................Inside
.....................................Guile

What an amazing form Timothy !
I was mesmerized and captured by your words.
I curse this site for one and only one reason and that being it has no centering feature. But you pulled that off regardless with greatness.

Thank-you for sharing this amazing form and poem, I am eager to try doing one the same. Though I fear it will be awhile before I can produce anything that comes even close to your masterpiece.
Thank you also for commenting on my Tyburn and yes, they do look much easier to write than they actually are.

    Take care, dear poet

Bravo, on even doing one of these. I have tried and failed miserably. I tip my hat to you. The words flowed so well together. Loved it.
